Spending your life trying to get people to like you, appreciate you or envy you is a pretty lame mission.
Firstly, you’ll never get to relax, as you’ll always find more people as-yet-unimpressed by you.
Secondly, nobody really cares what you do anyway, so any perceived feeling that you’re actually impressing others is probably a misunderstanding on your part.
Finally, and most importantly, you’re the only person who knows you well enough to make a rational decision on whether you’re impressive or not.
A better quest would be working your hardest to impress yourself.
That way, when you’re feeling impressed, you know you must have done something truly special.Â
