Remember that rather crude metaphor about relieving oneself or getting off the pot?

Put another (more palatable) way, take the appropriate action, or leave town.

James Clear reminded me of this idea last week when he wrote:

“If you know where you want to go in life, people tend to help or get out of the way.

Both of those are useful.”

And in your 21st century coaching or therapy business, this is why you should be laser-focused on your holy trinity of business pillars:

1: The big, expensive problem you solve,
2: The kind of people you solve it for, and
3: The offer you actually make to solve it

With those things clear in your mind, people will magnetically come forward, or run like the wind in the other direction.

As Clear says, either is way more useful than having them mill around not knowing what the hell to make of you.
