I’ve been working with an inspirational personal stylist and image consultant, creating messaging which will attract and resonate with her ideal client.

After some brainstorming, followed by a little honing and polishing, we landed on this:

“I’m a Personal Stylist and Image Consultant. Elite entrepreneurs and business leaders engage me when they don’t have the time or inclination to optimise their image, style and wardrobe by themselves but are fully aware of the power it will have on their entire life.

If this sounds thrilling to you, I’d love to talk and see how I can help.”

What makes this prose so powerful?

  • We mention her ideal client avatar and flatter them (Elite…leaders)
  • It empathises with their biggest pain around image
  • It uses emotive words like “Thrilling” “Entire” and “Love”
  • It anchors my client’s mission in HER mind, too
  • There are no “filler” words – it gets right to the point

She’s already used this in emails and LinkedIn messages, and it’s starting to create an impact.

Really understanding what you do, and for whom, is at the heart of great copy-writing.

There’s one more big benefit to getting your core messaging etched on your mind, as the foundation of your business:

You’ll start to repurpose the same words, consistently and clearly, saving your time, and your client’s

What’s not to love about that?
