Nothing personal.
It’s just that nothing and nobody can make you happy.
Well, one person can.
You.
The misunderstanding that leads us to attribute our feelings to external sources is particularly prevalent in entrepreneurs.
You know, I’d be happy if:
- I make another sale today
- I get a new laptop
- That client stops emailing me
- My internet wasn’t so slow
- I got another 500 followers
It’s not that stuff like that doesn’t MATTER.
It does, and sometimes lots.
But you can choose to be happy anyway, and solve those problems when you can.
Who knows, they might even solve themselves.
