The side hustle under your nose

Just recently, I’ve taken to selling things from around my house.

Not things I’m actively using of course, as that would be just silly.

Older, superfluous stuff that needs to go but is too nice to recycle just yet.

I’ve listed them on Facebook Marketplace, with the following results:

  • 5 free ads took ten minutes each to write
  • They each sold within minutes, amid multiple offers
  • Buyers collected in each case
  • People said my ads were the best things they’d ever read

Here’s the ads that made around £600:

The laws of copywriting apply: Make a good headline, be funny, dare to be different.

Easy money, and my stuff is lighting up someone else’s life.

PS: What’s the last thing you sold online, outside of your main business?
