How to win clients better than you

Apologies.

Fake headline, because nobody is better than you.

Sure, they may have different skills or talents nurtured over a long period, but better?

Doubtful in the extreme.

Which is why it’s unnecessary (and terribly unhelpful) to feel in any way inferior to a potential client you’re talking to.

Rich Litvin talks about “Prey Energy” which signals “I am in awe of you. You are more impressive than me”.

The alternative is called “Peer Energy” when you signal something like, “I may be able to help you, but I’m not sure yet. It’ll be fine for both of us if we do work together, and fine if we don’t”

As you progress with your 21st-century coaching or therapy business, you’ll come across wealthy, famous, super-capable people who’d really benefit from what you do.

Just don’t become quivering prey in their eyes.

You’re way better than that.

Love you lots
Jonny
