They say you can increase your chances of an upgrade on a flight if you tick certain boxes:
- Dress like someone who isn’t a maniac
- Be polite and kind to everyone
- Show up early
- Act as if you’ve succeeded before
- Ask for it, with a smile
In other words: behave like someone who deserves it.Â
Seems to me those are pretty good rules for making your way in the wider world too.
