I’ve always shied away from loudmouths and braggarts.
The ones who are always tootling about their accomplishments:
- How poor they were just a short while ago
- How far they’ve come
- How rich they now are
- How many people follow them
- How many books they’ve sold
My Yorkshire Uncle fed me a lovely line years ago:
If they have to tell you they’re a big shot, they’re not.
So, tread carefully when you hear too much self-generated brouhaha.
More importantly, don’t be that person.
