Business coach Karl Bryan picks at an open wound afflicting many coaches and therapists when he says:

You don’t have a client problem.

You don’t have a money problem.

You have a refusal to help people before they pay you problem.

That’s the problem.

In practice that means you should be showing up with an open heart and a genuine desire to excite people with what you do:

  • Creating daily content of value across social media
  • Responding to comments and posts when someone needs you
  • Offering video calls to share insights without the pressure of a sales call

Of course, all that stuff gets you sales, but it doesn’t have to with everyone, every time.

It’s just part of your culture of help, support and being USEFUL that’ll make you rich, anyway.
