Here’s a video to cheer you up on a dreary autumn morning.
It’s a street party in Brighton, England, where we rocked up and entertained a boozy crowd, back in the days when people did things like that.
I’ve been playing piano since I was 9 years old, and one of my greatest joys is sharing the stage with other musicians, particularly when they’re as talented as this bunch of old stagers.
The parallels with performing arts and your business are many:
🥳 It’s all about learned skills. Practice beats talent, hands down
🥳 You don’t need confidence to get started. You need to get started to get confidence
🥳 When you approach it as something you get to do, rather than something you have to do, it’ll be more successful and rewarding
🥳 If you’re determined to have fun, great results will follow naturally
🥳 When you go out to perform for the benefit of others, you’ll automatically benefit also
