Along with infinite possibilities for achieving success, the internet age has also brought unlimited scope for overwhelm.
It’s so easy to get sucked into doing a little bit of this, a little bit of that, or even lots of both.
And woof! the day’s over.
Days turn into weeks, and weeks into months.
Here’s a really simple way to get some structure and organisation into your business, and avoid the exhaustion that can come from trying to do too many things at once:
That means setting up a mini production-line so:
- If you do podcasts, live videos, interviews or recordings, line a month’s-worth up in one day like JLD does
- If you write daily blogs, do a ton in one session
- If you have face-to-face clients, coach them all in one day
- If you run group courses or webinars, set them up sequentially in a morning or afternoon
This simple change has streamlined my business, straightened out my head and made it possible for me to do more of everything in less time.
The 12-week year is a thing, right now, and it might just be within your grasp. Try batching and let me know.
PS – Working more efficiently through batching and other strategies is a pillar of The Success Project LIVE, my 12-week, small-group, high-attention programme starting soon. It’s for professional coaches, therapists, trainers and consultants who are serious about finding more of their ideal clients, more easily. Enrollment’s open for another couple of weeks, but it’s nearly full. Check out the details!
PPS – Here’s the details for next week’s Facebook Group masterclass via Zoom, all about how to build a thriving FACEBOOK GROUP like I’m doing with Jonny Hates Marketing. ONE PLACE LEFT.
