I’ve learnt a lot since I wrote and published Daily Brain Tattoo numero uno on the 24th March 2017.
I made a promise to create one every day, except Sundays, when I give you (and me!) a day off.
So, week-in, week-out, through two summers and two more winters, I’ve written about what moves me, and what I believe serves you too.
That first 1-minute read took 20 minutes to write the evening before, and a whole lot longer to pluck up the courage to press “Publish”.
As it hit a handful of inboxes the next day, I had no idea whether anyone would read it, like it, or whether it would have the slightest impact on the world.
By the afternoon, 5 people had read it, and one commented how they enjoyed it.
That got the unstoppable snowball rolling, and it’s getting bigger and faster every day.
Here are some more highlights:

- Over 12,000 reactions and comments in social media
- 8,700 downloads of the audio versions on Alexa
- A bestselling book published with 100 of the early DBTs
- Dozens of clients coming forward after reading these first
There’s one thing that’s more important than the numbers though, and it’s a life lesson learnt:
Consistent daily action will move you closer to your goal.
In fact, it’s the only thing that ever will.
