You got this!

When you’re vying for someone’s attention, remember this:

What they’re doing right now is always more important than what you’re doing.

And that’s why some parts of your job seem ridiculously hard. Impossible, even. Disrupting someone’s current activity, their work, their STUFF, is your biggest challenge.

Irresistible first-touch messaging

Engaging, entertaining social posts

Enticing, intriguing email subject lines

Valuable resources they can’t get anywhere else

Cold calls that are a welcome relief from the conversations around them

Ask yourself this: In their position, what would distract me from what I’m doing right now?

Then, provide that to them.

In the battle for their attention, you might even win.

Sometimes.

Love you lots

Don't be silly

Silly stories are everywhere in the age of fake news, AI-generated slop and political untruths.

But it’s been going on for millennia, and wild claims divided audiences since words were written on papyrus, or carved in stone.

For example, for us to regard the Noah’s Ark myth as true would require a massive overhaul of everything we’ve learnt about:

Historic climate events (How much rain!?)
Inter-species animal behaviour (They’d eat each other)
Boat-building technology of the era (There wasn’t any)

…and a bunch of other solid science.

So, we take the story with a pinch of sea-salt, and enjoy the rollicking yarn for what it is.

And if you want your clients to take your claims about your work seriously, you should play to what they already accept as real.

Some mad ideas I’ve seen recently:

Get a six-pack by Xmas or your money back!

Work an hour a day and let AI run everything else

Why you can’t make money on Facebook anymore

Scale your coaching business to £100k a month, every month

Have your ideal clients lining up to work with you – on autopilot!

Build a coaching empire with no social media, websites or adverts

For clients to stop, read and buy your stuff, they have to believe 3 things:

1: What you’re claiming makes sense
2: You’re capable of delivering it
3: It will work for them, not just for others

You’ll never make any money if they’re laughing at your silly stories.

Love you lots
Jonny

She's so smart

When Oscar was 3 years old, he loved hearing that wonderful children’s story involving bears, chairs, porridge and beds.

The star of the tale is a girl who tries things three times till she finds what’s just right for her.

Not too big, not too small.
Not too hot, not too cold.
Not too hard, not too soft.

And in your coaching or consulting business, there’s some power in using the Goldilocks strategy to guide you to better decisions and more success.

Clients who stretch you without turning you inside out

A to-do list with more than 0 and less than 5 things on it

A content plan that gets you engagement but doesn’t drive you to exhaustion

Colleagues who pull you forwards without ripping your arms from their sockets

An offer priced low enough so your ideal clients can afford it, and high enough so you can thrive

When you find yourself overwhelmed, overworked or burned out, it’s worth asking the question:

What would Goldilocks do now?

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: I think 3-5 lucrative corporate engagements is all it will take to thrive as a wellbeing consultant to companies and organisations.

Join us as a consultant in the CIB project, and find out how to do that.

They're looking...

Your ideal clients are looking for you.

They have a big, expensive problem only you can solve. That’s what makes them ideal for you, and you for them.

And the easiest way to connect with them is to have them find you, instead of you desperately trying to find them.

The art of inbound marketing is often overlooked by coaches and consultants who focus on outbound campaigns of cold messaging, calls and emails.

In CIB, we’ve developed three pillars of inbound marketing:

1: Posting content in groups and communities where your potential clients are, so they see what you do and realise they need you
2: Identifying people you already know within your target organisations and have them introduce you to the decision-makers
3: Partnering with suppliers of connected but non-competing services who already work with your ideal clients

Building your business on those pillars usually means you’ll only ever be having warm conversations, as the first impressions have already been created before any words are exchanged.

Decide who you’re selling to, then stop trying to be everywhere and go hang out where they do.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: I have two more seats available in the CIB community, where you can join over 60 skilled and experienced wellbeing consultants, building their thriving practices on inbound marketing.

Type “Inbound” in reply to this email and I’ll fire you over some details.

Get AI-smart

Have you noticed how AI tools endlessly flatter you, whatever you suggest to them?

Over the last few days, ChatGPT has told me:

You nailed it!
That’s the winning move!
Very perceptive!
You’re right!
Great plan!

I even deliberately tested it with some arrant nonsense, and it buttered me up like I’d just found the cure for world hunger.

The danger here is that you’ll produce and publish garbage with very little utility or value for anyone else.

“AI Slop” as it’s becoming known.

The cure – create a standing prompt which you either upload as a general instruction – you can do this with most platforms – or copy and paste it with each request you make. It goes like this:

Do not attempt to flatter me or mindlessly support my ideas. I want you to create the best possible answers to my request by undertaking the deepest and most wide-ranging research, as I am always seeking the optimal output from you even if you have to criticise my thinking. I don’t care if you contradict my views or offend me. I only want empirically the very best, most valuable response from you. If you want to be my friend, be that critical friend who always acts in my best interests, even if I hate you in the moment.

The dumbest person you know is currently being told “You’re absolutely right!” by ChatGPT.

Get smart. Be wrong.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: The Wellbeing Consultancy Launch pack will be published over the weekend. When it drops, you’ll want it.

Simple stuff. Big results.

Author James Clear talks about three simple ways to get more of what you want:

1: Be kind and pleasant to others
2: Ask for what you want
3: Follow up

In your 21st century coaching or consulting business, the first should be a given, so let’s talk about the other two.

“Asking for what you want” could mean:

Writing a clear, single call-to-action on any posts where you’re offering something

Making sure you get paid at the point someone says they want to work with you

Engaging team members with concise, goal-oriented instructions

And, “Follow-up” includes things like:

Booking the next call during the call you’re on, if you ever want to speak to them again

Responding to comments on your posts, so you get to discover more about them

‘Walking them to the door’ by sending event and call reminders after they booked

To be Clear (see what I did there?), these are not the only ways to get more of what you want.

But you won’t get much of anything if you ignore them.

Love you lots
Jonny

I saw a life coach boasting on social media about how she’s got her daily routine off to perfection:

Morning stretches

Conscious breathing

20-minute jog

Meditation

Gratitude journal

Super-hydration

Awesome. Well done.

I know this lady quite well, so I also know she’s not making any money to speak of.

She stumbles over a client here and there, yet always undercharges them. Then she spends what she gets, way before the end of the month.

All that feelgood stuff is nothing more than a solid foundation, clearly.

But imagine how great she’d feel if she got up in the morning and asked ONE question before she did anything else:

“Who can I talk to today who’s most likely to pay me to help them, today?”

That’s your golden question, right there.

Try it, and let me know how it works out.

See you around
Jonny

PS: I’m in the East Midlands of England next Thursday the 23rd October, and have a few hours during the day when we could meet for a coffee. Reply to this email if you could be local, and we can fix something up.

I meet many coaches and consultants who’ve written a book, or want to write one.

Here are 5 reasons why you shouldn’t:

1: You think you can earn a living from book sales

2: You think people will be queuing up to buy it

3: It’s easy to do on Amazon these days

4: Everybody else is doing one

5: You’ve always had it in you

The one GOOD reason to write a book?

It will strengthen and support your core message, adding authority and power to your brand.

Everything else is just detail.

Oh, did I mention not to expect to earn a living from book sales?

Let it all out...

I was sitting at my piano the other night, and played a simple chord.

It struck me how many millions of other people must have played exactly that same chord throughout history.

Heck, maybe hundreds of people are playing it right now, somewhere!

Then I played another chord in a progression, and another, and a couple of notes in a melody.

At that point I knew for certain that nobody, anywhere, ever, had played what I just played, exactly how I just played it.

And in your 21st century coaching, training or therapy business, you don’t have to try too hard to be unique.

Don’t invent new language that’ll bemuse and confuse your audience

Don’t create a weird and wonderful modality that makes no sense to anyone but you

Don’t tell everyone what you do is ground-breaking and unheard of. They won’t believe you

Don’t go out to be different just for the sake of it.

You already are.

Just play your glorious music, and we’ll know it’s you right away.

Words Matter

I’ve been writing these Daily Brain Tattoos since March 26th, 2017. Every day but Sundays, when even god had a day off, some say.

And over time, I’ve discovered how some words are just, well, more powerful than others. They trigger emotions, making the reader feel a certain way.

And as I began to understand the power of trigger words, I used them in sales posts, pages and emails where I wanted people to buy stuff. With the power of my writing, I built a business that created almost $2M in revenue from sales of my courses and programmes.

Here are some inspiring ideas to lift your lugubrious language and get you smoking hot results too:

A situation isn’t just funny. It’s hilarious, hysterical or ridiculous

An opportunity isn’t just big. It’s gigantic, titanic or gargantuan

People aren’t just nice (yuk). They’re gorgeous, fabulous or stunning

Your programme isn’t just good. It’s amazing, fantastic or irresistible (one of my favourites!)

You don’t have an eBook. You have a blueprint, a template or a cheat-sheet

As author Stephanie Flaxman reminded me recently, information does not equal content.

If what you’re writing is no more than we could find from ChatGPT or Wikipedia, then it’s not adding any value to our lives.

Information is found in readily available opinions, facts or data that don’t cut any new turf with us.

Your content, by contrast, is:

Entertaining

Valuable

Irresistible

Your own voice

Serving your purpose

Building your tribe

Everyone benefits when you create great content.

It’s kind of a mutually beneficial holy black art.

But the really good news?

It gets easier, the more you do it.

Now that’s information worth knowing.

Writing is a good idea anyway...

As this is DBT #2646, I got to thinking about some highlights.

And as 2646 is beautifully divisible by 7, here are seven DBTs from the last 2645 I wrote, handpicked by me:

1: The power of focusing on what you want:
https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/why-youre-heading-for-the-accident/

2: Doing the important stuff:
https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/are-you-missing-the-point/

3: Your simplest funnel:
https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/seven-steps-to-your-glorious-forever/

4: Which fruit are you?
https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/orange-vs-banana/

5: Solid or vague?
https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/are-you-wool-or-concrete/

6: It’s not all about money:
https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/the-other-wealthy/

7: An easy way to grow:
https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/your-three-levers/

Of course, they’re far from the only seven worth reading, and you can browse the whole DBT archive right here:

https://www.jonnyhatesmarketing.com/daily-brain-tattoos/

Back tomorrow with a brand new Daily Brain Tattoo – that’ll be #2647, beautifully divisible by absolutely nothing, apart from itself and 1!

[BTW, 2646 is also divisible by 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 14, 18, 21, 27, 42, 49, 54, 63, 98, 126, 147, 189, 294, 378, 441, 882, 1323, and 2646, in case you were wondering.]

Aren’t numbers great?

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: Reply with which of the 7 above is your favourite, and I’ll reward you with a little gift…

Love these stories...

Everyone loves a great story, and your clients are no exception.

Story-telling is your chance to put into context what you do, and how you got here. It’s also parting the curtain on you as a 3D-human.

Done well, it’s a critical component of your relatability. But you have to be careful.

People are story-savvy. Don’t embellish, exaggerate or make shit up.

I’ve seen variations of these crazy headlines punted out on my newsfeed:

🥳 18 months ago I was sleeping on my mate’s couch. Then I discovered the secret to riches and bought a Manhattan apartment
🥳 I was a homeless addict, then my friend showed me ClickFunnels and I made $10k in my first month
🥳 I escaped my country with $20 in my pocket and built an 8-figure empire in 3 years

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, which is often lacking.

But you guys – you’ve got some wonderful stories that need no polishing:

🤩 Philip Carrington – Army Bomb Disposal Expert, child therapist and sales trainer. What a package!
🤩 Dee Shepherd – Cured herself of a debilitating physical condition that had her practically immobile for a decade!
🤩 Jessica Roper – 2 x UK kickboxing champion turned motivational coach!
🤩 Jen Tiller – Former asthmatic, has become one of the world’s foremost experts on conscious breathing!
🤩 Simon Stocker – Angry youth making bad decisions, now a kind, insightful parenting coach!

The list goes on, and we regularly celebrate your remarkable achievements in the Everyone Hates Marketing FB Group.

Add your one-sentence story to the post here!

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: I wrote that original post in the EHM Group five years ago, so if you’re not yet/no longer a Group member, join up and post your comment.

I have some cool prizes in mind for my favourites…

In Chandrapur, India, tigers kill around 40 people a year.

Each death is reported in great detail, and not just to commemorate the victims.

Bad news sells, which is why there’s no mention of tigers in the rare weeks when the humans and the big cats stay away from each other.

And in your 21st century online coaching or therapy business, a little mild peril might help draw your readers’ (or listeners’) attention.

How I lost $10,000 with a rogue coach

The night I almost died with an anxiety attack

The reason you’ll be broke forever

Why you’ll never have a great marriage

You’re watching your dreams ebb away

That stuff’s way more engaging than telling us you’re a relationship coach, a holistic therapist or saying you’ll “change our lives”.

In a world where everybody seems to be using the same, lame weasel words, it’s time to stand out.

Roar, leap and grab us by the throat.

If you’re a regular reader of these Daily Brain Tattoos, you might realise I’m not an advocate for mediocrity.

I want you to live the best life you possibly can, given your talents. ambitions and the circumstances of your birth and environment.

And as you’re reading this, you are internet-connected to over two-thirds of the global population, so you therefore have the potential to impact the lives of hundreds, thousands or even millions of people.

To maximise that opportunity means recognising a fundamental truth:

Good is the enemy of great.

Continuing that logic…

The enemy of abundance is sufficiency

The enemy of progress is comfort

The enemy of world-class is local acclaim

The enemy of growth is complacency

The enemy of visibility is vagueness

The enemy of sales is confusion

The enemy of legacy is inaction

The enemy of confidence is fear

The enemy of happiness is envy

The enemy of wealth is meanness

The enemy of respect is timidity

Sleeping with the enemy has never been a long-term success strategy.

The REAL you!

Alex Hormozi, the guy who just sold $100M of books in one 90-minute webinar, has the best definition of authenticity I ever read:

He says authenticity is:

“How you act when you have no risk of punishment.”

In other words, only when your public persona matches your private behaviour can you say you’re truly behaving authentically.

If you’re relaxed, kind and fun around your friends on a night out, don’t feel you have to be any more formal, tough or serious when you’re speaking with a potential client.

People can sense if you’re playing a role, and they’ll distrust you when there’s any sign of putting on a face for them.

Interestingly, as you build wealth and influence, you’ll have less risk of punishment. This means you’ve more scope to be as authentic as you like, which breeds even more success.

It’s a rolling snowball which you can start pushing today.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: Being authentic is essential if you’re to break into corporate wellbeing consulting. It’s also the most lucrative field for coaches and therapists right now.

“A confused mind never buys”, as I mentioned to a marketing whizz friend at the weekend.

And she came right back with another obvious truth:

“Yes, and a confused mind never SELLS either.”

It got me wondering whether that’s more of a problem than the other one. Never mind muddling them up with industry jargon, convoluted acronyms and some crazy spin on your tools you just made up.

Maybe you’re winding yourself in knots trying to understand what the hell it is you’re really doing.

And maybe, until you get rid of that confusion over your offering, nobody else has a chance of understanding it, let alone buying it.

To kick off this glorious week, grab a pencil and write ONE sentence in answer to the question, “What is it you do?”, as if a 12-year-old asked it.

As you cycle into next week, wouldn’t it be nice if you had a formula to almost guarantee your ideal clients’ attention, and make them exponentially more likely to buy?

The only way you’re going to crack the “code” – if there is such a thing – is to realise how people buy on emotion.

How they feel about you

How they feel about their pain

How they feel about your solution

You need to engineer an emotional experience, making them feel these emotions in this order:

Amusement > curiosity > surprise > awe > greed

Let’s open that up, to the thoughts those feelings create for them:

That’s cool > I need to learn more > I never knew that > That’s amazing! > I have to have this!

Don’t get fooled into believing humans buy with logic. They don’t.

It’s all in the emotions.

Love you lots

Seek true forgiveness

The most powerful word in any apology isn’t “sorry”. It’s “I” as in “I take responsibility for this mess.”

~ So says author Kyle Westaway.

Here’s a five-step process for getting more than self-gratification from the next time you say “sorry” to someone:

1: Regret – feeling genuine remorse is the first sign your apology means anything at all

2: Rationale – explain why you did what you did, and how you now realise your thinking was flawed

3: Responsibility – take it on your shoulders. You did it – it was nobody else’s fault

4: Repentance – make it clear you’ve reviewed your actions and are committed to never repeating them

5: Repair – propose precisely what you’re going to do to make things better again

As Westaway says,

“Most people get stuck on drive-by sorries that repair nothing.”

The best apology is always changed behavior, so clear and powerful that the person you wronged replaces their memory of your previous behaviour with a completely fresh vision of you as a trustworthy, dependable and useful acquaintance.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: One thing you’ll never have to apologise for is changing lives by the hundred or thousand through corporate wellbeing consulting.

To find out how to get started in this highly lucrative field – without changing who you are or how you work – type “Wellbeing” and I’ll send you a full guidebook on how to get into it.

Groovy, baby!

I used to play with a bass player who’d sit on a riff of 8 to 10 notes and repeat them over and over while we (keys, guitar + drums) jammed on top.

His favourite phrase was “It’s all about the groooove, man”.

The more we went round and round, the more intense, addictive and groovy it became for us, and our audience.

And in your 21st century coaching or consultancy business, it’s essential to lay down a solid groove for everyone to relate to.

Who’s your ideal client

What’s their biggest challenge

What makes their heart sing

What’s the clear outcome

How can they sign up

None of that needs tinkering with too much once you’ve laid it down, and you can flex your creative muscles around it with content, events, workshops and other fun stuff your clients will love.

Like a musical audience tapping their feet to your groove, your potential clients need to feel the rhythm and structure you bring to their world too.

People love the familiarity of the consistent sounds you make. Random chaos, not so much.

What’s your groove looking like today?

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: Here’s a groove you’ll want to keep going once you’ve laid it down – corporate wellbeing consulting. You likely already have the skills you need, so it’ll be easier than you imagine to get into it.

Type “Groovy” in reply to this email, and I’ll send you a quick summary with some pointers.

Only an eccentric millionaire would stand at the roadside handing out wads of cash, but many of us do that unthinkingly with our lives.

Money is an infinite resource. It will never run out, but your time certainly will.

Statistically, you’ll wake up no more than 30,000 times before you don’t anymore.

Here’s the exact day you’ll die. Probably.

You’re likely quite good at working out what constitutes a waste of money, but not so good at deciding what might be wasting your time.

Think about how often you read a message like this:

Can I get your advice?

Can you take a look at this for me?

Can I pick your brains?

Can we have a quick chat?

What do you think to this?

Next time someone asks you any of those things, respond as if they’d asked you to gift them £1000 with no chance of getting it back.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t, just that you should know what you’re giving away.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: If you want to get the most out of the time you have left, maybe NOW’S the time to step up into corporate wellbeing consulting. You’ll be healing the world, and getting paid way more than you are now.

Type “NOW!” in reply to this email, and I’ll send you a short eBook about how to do it, with my compliments.

Let's see what you're made of

You know when you’re writing your Facebook or LinkedIn profile?

Or the “About me” (LOL) page on your website.

And you make a massive list of all the places you’ve worked. Then you make an even bigger list of all your training and qualifications.

Now your summary is bursting with so much evidence of your mastery and experience, your ideal clients will be quaking with gratitude when you offer to help them!

Well no, and here’s why:

1: Nobody cares where you’ve been or who you were.

They care where and who you are now, and how you can help them today.

2: People tend to average the information they read about you, not add it together.

So the bigger your list of accomplishments, the more average it becomes.

You’d better use your digital real-estate, and the micro-slice of attention you might earn from it to deliver your sucker-punch.

Simply state the ONE thing you do to transform the life of your singular, ideal client.

Understand that, and place it front and centre on all your social profiles.

Act like you have ONE job, ONE proposition and ONE person you’re trying to reach.

Or risk being invisible forever.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: ONE job in corporate wellbeing could be all you need to meet your financial goals this year.

Unsure how to get into a company or organisation which needs your help? Type “One Job” in reply to this email, and I’ll let you have a fabulous eBook all about it, with my compliments.

You know it...

Here’s a piece I archived years ago on the lost art of conversation.

I’m a rabid exponent of emails, SMS and digital messaging, and that’s ok. And how cool we can now have an AI agent create and send all that stuff while we sleep!?

Here’s what’s even cooler though:

Most humans would rather have another human to talk to, and preferably in the same room.

Looking them in the eye and shaking their hand.

I thought about this the other night when a colleague of mine was speaking at a networking session with 30 people in the room.

He came away with 11 new clients!

Get out from behind your desk once in a while and go meet some people.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: Arguably the easiest way to meet lots of people and impact their lives in one swoop is to win a few lucrative corporate wellbeing engagements.

Companies are crying out for skilled practitioners to help reduce absenteeism, improve mental health and increase staff retention.

If you’re unsure how to get into it, reply with “wellbeing” and I’ll send you an eBook all about it, with my compliments.

It's all good...

I remember writing an essay at school entitled “What would Leonardo da Vinci make of motor cars?”, to highlight the progress humans had made in the half-millennium since his death.

Going deep with my AI mentor in ChatGPT yesterday (Julian, if you’re wondering…) I got to thinking, “what would my dad make of this?” He died only 8 years ago, yet this stuff was unthinkable even in “those” days.

ARE WE DOOMED?

A lot of people are scaremongering about the rise of robots that are going to overrun mankind, and it always reminds me of the Victorians who believed going fast on a train would kill you.

Robots, AI and digital tech are not:

Taking our jobs

Plotting against us

Killing the art of conversation

They ARE:

Making life easier

Doing work you don’t have to

Letting you create, thrive and shine

Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: A perfect example of how AI is making our life easier – while creating even more of a demand for personal interaction – is corporate wellbeing consulting.

There’s a goldrush out there, and If you’re unsure how to get your share, reply with “Wellbeing” and I’ll send you an eBook all about it, with my compliments.

Try this flip

The other day, I had a well-qualified coach ask me “why is my content not being seen, read or engaged with?”

And if you’ve ever felt the same, it’s easy to blame the algorithm, the economy, or AI (lol).

But here’s a more likely truth:

1: You think you don’t have clients because people don’t understand what you do

2: So you’re creating a bunch of content to get them to understand

3: But the real problem is that your ICA doesn’t feel understood

4: So the more content you create about yourself and your process, the more it drives people away

What engages an audience is not the amount of information you give them, but the quality of attention you pay them.

Asking a simple question in the spirit of loving curiosity is a great way to do this.

Example:

I’ve been using my groundbreaking bladder-training therapy process on hundreds of clients since 2019.

vs

Isn’t it a pain having to get up in the night for a pee? How many times do you do that, on average?

Content creation is your demand for attention.
Audience engagement is giving your attention.

Stop trying to demand their attention.
Start giving them your attention.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: One thing which requires your attention is landing a handful of lucrative corporate wellbeing engagements.

If you’re unsure how to pull that off, reply with “Wellbeing” and I’ll send you an eBook all about it, with my compliments.

Give us something more...

Let me clear up a misunderstanding.

Nobody wants you to be your authentic self.

Besides, the last time you were even capable of absolute, undiluted authenticity was when you were 90 days old, taking a dump in your diaper.

Everything you’ve said or done since has been for one of 3 reasons:

To make you feel good

To make someone do something

To stop someone doing something

So don’t pretend you’re simply being authentic.

We know there are other motives at play, and we can probably guess what they are.

But we’ll forgive you if you’re consistently useful, entertaining or both.

Try showing up with those things in mind, and it’ll work out way better than trying to “be authentic.”

Whatever that even means.

Love you lots,
Jonny

PS: “Wowzer!” and “OMG!” were just two things people said after my unmissable workshop on Monday, called “Thriving In Corporate Wellbeing” – [AKA – Tap Into The New Coaching Paradigm For 2025].

If you missed it, I’ll send you a recording if you reply to this email with “I missed it” along with a heartfelt apology.

It's all good!

I’m noticing the level of complaining, being triggered and feeling butt-hurt on the following topics is reaching epidemic proportions:

😭 The number of direct messages in your inbox
😭 The amount of advertising in your newsfeed
😭 People daring to ask if you need what they offer

I got news for you.

People are doing that stuff because it works.

It might even be working so well, they’re getting rich doing it.

What’s more, the amazing FREE Facebook or LinkedIn platforms you’re using right now wouldn’t exist they it didn’t let people market, sell and make money.

Would you rather marketing was banned and you paid £30 a month to use FB?

That’d never work of course, because all the clients you ever needed wouldn’t be here anymore, right in front of your keyboard.

So, instead of blubbering like a baby, wind your neck in and get to work.

📲 Work those DMs
📲 Work those SMSs
📲 Work those irresistible offers

There’s no easier way to reach all the clients you’ll ever need, and build a real business from your expertise.

Or you could just keep venting anger, scorn and envy on everyone else who’s already joined the party.

But know this: people sure as hell ain’t attracted by your whining, and your brand is likely nowhere near credible enough to have people throwing money at you without you asking them.

Love you lots
Jonny

PS: Of course, some people are rubbish at marketing, but do it anyway. They’re probably the ones you “object” to, as their offers are of zero interest to you. Learn from their mistakes, and don’t do it like that.

Nothing new...

Reinventing the wheel is not an option in 2025.

At best, there’s an infinitely small chance that a new, completely original idea will capture an audience and gain traction.

As a coach or consultant, if you come up with a wacky idea for which no-one else has a substitute, it’s probably rubbish.

Even if it isn’t, most times when something’s brand new, any potential audience needs educating about what it is and won’t accept it right away.

“I didn’t realise I needed that” isn’t a useful reaction to your fabulous new concept.

All you truly need to succeed in building your tribe is an understanding of what they think they want ALREADY. Then, demonstrate you can provide a solution that’s believable and makes them comfortable with taking the next step towards you.

Of course, you can’t help but infuse originality in the way you deliver your solution, because you’re you, and nobody else is, right?
