Author Robin Sharma says:
“The minute you accept your current standards is the moment you’re on the path to irrelevance.”
This means accepting that any level of growth and any amount of learning you choose is possible.
In fact, it’s all but essential if you are to live a useful, memorable and rich life.
Next time you hear yourself saying:
- I wish I could play the piano
- I’m not a techy person
- I’m not so good at meeting new people
- I’m terrified of public speaking
- I don’t know how to build a group programme
…or any other miscellaneous put-downs, remember that those statements are only true about your life today, if at all.
It’s your obligation to change your reality and go discover the best you can be.
After all, if I can make those things work, anybody can.
