We’ve all had it from both sides:Â
1: Received the squeamy “Just circling back” or “Nudging in case you missed this” messages, and
2: Tried to get someone you REALLY want to talk to, to talk to you.
Next time it feels like you’re having to chase someone, remember this:
It’s ok to chase. Many people need 3-5 “nudges” before they’ll interact usefully. Nothing personal – it’s all about them.Â
Here’s a cool way to do it that won’t seem desperate, annoying or formulaic:
Send them something useful.Â
- A lead magnet, like CIB’s White Paper
- A piece of news affecting their work or interests
- A pro-tip they can take away and implement today
Saying, hey, I saw this and thought of you, beats hey you, talk to me, every time.
Love you lots
Jonny
PS: If you’d like a copy of CIB’s White Paper, packed with corporate wellbeing insights from all around the world, reply with “CIB” and I’ll get it over to you.Â
