Why dumb people succeed

Here’s writer and former heavyweight boxer Ed Latimore, quoted by James Clear:

“Someone with half your IQ is making 10x more than you because they aren’t smart enough to doubt themselves.”

And when you’re trying to establish your authority as an online personal brand, self-doubt is the ultimate dream killer.

It’ll paralyse you from taking action
When you do take action, it’ll be half-hearted
Your potential clients will feel your under-confidence

So here’s the antidote:

Play dumb.

Pretend you’ve never heard of failure
Be pig-headed enough to ignore your critics
Laugh like a mad-person in the face of anyone who says you’ll never amount to anything.

That’s so stupid, it might just work.

See you around
Jonny
