Here’s how long you have left

Only an eccentric millionaire would stand at the roadside handing out wads of cash, but many of us do that unthinkingly with our lives.

Money is an infinite resource. It will never run out, but your time certainly will.

Statistically, you’ll wake up no more than 30,000 times before you don’t anymore.

Here’s the exact day you’ll die. Probably.

You’re likely quite good at working out what constitutes a waste of money, but not so good at deciding what might be wasting your time.

Think about how often you read a message like this: 

• Can I get your advice?
• Can you take a look at this for me?
• Can I pick your brains?
• Can we have a quick chat?
• What do you think to this?

Next time someone asks you any of those things, respond as if they’d asked you to gift them £1000 with no chance of getting it back.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t, just that you should know what you’re giving away.
